SUNDAY.

An extension of my Junior year final exhibition. 
I painted oil portraits from photos of my friends on Sunday mornings. Rather than depicting the glamor of partying, I portrayed the not so glamorous aspect of going out: the hangover. Although paintings in oil are naturally beautiful, the subjects in each of the pieces are not in peak form; hi-lighting their obvious sleep deprivation, headache, and nausea. Each portrait has a story behind their hangover, and the mystery of their night can be guessed by their state of being portrayed.
